Basing it off a lifetime of experience of what me and my family can utilize and wondering what someone who’s “job” is hunting does with all the birds they shoot. Maybe they have a huge family or a lot of friends to gift them to but when I see reports of birds thrown in a ditch or dumpster it seems like that’s a viable option too.

I think you're a bit over your skis with thinking birds are wasted just because some group kills a bunch. I've been on more hunts than I can think of where 40-50, or more, ducks were killed. All were eaten.

I don’t know much about skis but in my experiences hunting with larger groups I’m amazed at how many guys like to shoot ‘em but don’t want to take any home. It’s not much of a stretch to me to think the birds they took with them ended up in a trash can.

What makes you think the game they kill is not eaten? Just curious.
There are numerous reports of birds ending up in bar ditches especially in Canada.

I use to kill a average of 1500 snows a year. And every one of them got ate.

Now I'm not going to sugar coat, I'm sure some guys do the ditch dump of birds because they are all about the hero pics. But that doesnt mean divebomb is doing it, doesnt mean they aren't either.

I dont own any of their gear and dont have intention to own any simply do to cost and decoy features. But I dont have any hate against them are any other perrty smile and flat brim on the gram gram or diwtter tiwitter or book of faces.

It's not just about the eating of the birds, it's also about time. I've been in Canada for Snow goose hunts, and there just isn't enough time. To eat, sleep, drink, hunt, and clean birds. Cocktail hour/bed time comes early, especially when you're tired, from the day, after day, grind.

I'm afraid time is passing me by. I have no appetite for the new era of waterfowl marketing or the industry in general. I wouldn't hunt with any of these folks, even if it was a 300 bird day. They wouldn't want to hunt with me either. I have never watched more than a few minutes of any online waterfowl video. More disgust than interest for me.

In college, my buddy shot his first goose with me and he tried to ring its neck but couldn't break it. Just twisted it really bad...goose wouldn't die. He wept. I admire him and that moment to this day for his compassion.

My dad established a goose refuge and resident flock that still flourishes 45 years later. I grew up in goose chit. Lived with geese. Like Those Calloways, "everything for the geese!" The birds are pretty special to me although I kill my share. I have a hard time stomaching the new era of waterfowl hunters.

I hunt alone mostly because of that. I'm sure DB is laughing to the bank, but I won't buy anything from them.

The wigeon shoot Billy Bob referenced is an indicator, IMO. They took a pile pick with a full limit and insisted that's what they shot. It wasn't.
If they are willing to flock shoot and go over limit in an act of disregard, then lie about it despite video evidence.. I wouldn't put it past them.

I’ve bought stuff from DB plenty of times. Their warehouse is a 1/2 mile from my office. I like their products, and they have always been easy to deal with when I come to pick up. They have a display room now, used to be just a warehouse, and it’s nice. They even allow employee’s to open carry. Will probably add 3-5 dozen this year to replace some of the faded out junk in our perm spread. IDK if they shot an over limit, young men do dumb stuff. I’m sure the statute has run by now.

Silly topic. Can’t believe it’s still alive. I see jealousy from many. I see a young business man doing what he loves and laughing all the way to the bank.
Yes I do hunt Divebombs.
