I’ve seen them all, some tough people on that.
Based on the title I assume it never features waterfowling?
I am a few shows into the current season. Have the rest on the DVR. Wife and I have been watching Naked and Afraid XL and now that it's season just ended, will switch back to Alone.
Good show - they are definitely "Alone". I tried to watch Mountain Men. But - they kept telling us how if this happened or that happened they could freeze to death, drown, etc. etc. Only problem was there was a camera crew right there filming. Nothing was going to happen !!!
I've seen every season. Great show. I just hate it when the guy who can starve the longest wins though (like last season). It's way better when the last few are actually surviving rather than just trying to outlast each other in a "let's see who can go the longest without eating" contest.
Wonder if the guy who opted not to have a bow this season because "statistically, it hasn't been a factor" will be singing a different tune after he gets home and watches the show on TV?
You always know they are getting close to picking up the sat phone when they take a long walk for no apparent reason...
So what's the longest any of ya'll have ever gone 100% totally alone...and I don't mean just ignoring everyone around you. I mean 100% no human interaction whatsoever? No cell phone. No one within shouting distance.
Most of my outdoor activities are done "alone", but I think the longest I've ever been truly alone was only 3 days on a solo backpacking in the Sierras.
When you really think about it, it's incredibly hard to ever be truly alone these days.
Watched the first two seasons, and our family made their picks on episode one each season, of who was gonna go the distance. You could pick the same person. I picked right both seasons, and I think my father in law did too.
Kinda forgot about it, honestly.
Havent watched it but based on what I just read it sounds pretty legit.
Ive don't the 3-5 day backpacking stuff, but like said previously, we always run into someone.
Not necessarily sure how I would fare being alone for a couple weeks.
It truly is one way to drop double digits in a couple weeks.
I watched Season 4 because my neighbor Pete and his son were contestants. I don't really know them (just wave) but thought that they'd won because they had a new boat parked outside their house while the season was winding down on TV. Ended up coming in second, I believe.
