Handy for short trips outside, when I am going to wear waders and long drives

I've had and worn out four pair, when soles are worn thin, I toss them. Walking on smooth or painted garage floors gets dangerous, for an old man. Still wear them everyday.

Current sandals are these. Keen. I like them. First set of closed toe sandals.

I also have Merrell slip-ons. We live in the country and I have a dog, so lots of trips outside where it is convenient to slip on some shoes rather than lacing up a pair.

I thought I would never be caught dead in them because they kind of look sissy or at least yuppy. But now I own not one but two pair -- one, my ordinary knock around the house 'slippers' which I also use for fishing (since I have to get wet in loading my boat on my trailer -- and the other, a pair of 'dress' Crocs (a nicer, newer pair to wear around civilized folks and people I want to impress).:l

Pretty sure it’s a law that if you live in the DEEP south you must wear Crocs.

I can. I talked my dad into them. He struggles to put his shoes on and tie them and everything else. We got him a pair of crocs and now that’s all he wears. Way easier on his body.
