Maybe it’s because I live here that my opinion is skewed, but it’s just about a requirement that every old southern man must own Crocs. Ownership amongst younger people seems slightly lower but still pretty high.

That was my observation amongst friends down there as well.

Visors as well. I’ve never seen so many. The only people that wear them up here are rich white women who play tennis and rich old white men who also like to bass fish. Or so it seems. They are few and far between.

Crocs and salt life stickers are the rage in the Midwest.

Anyone in the Midwest with a salt life sticker is deeply lost and confused. Or a tourist.

The visor deal is VERY timely. I was emailed yesterday that we were ordering hats and some other swag and asked for input. Note the person putting it together is a lady from IL. I replied with a few ideas and asked to definitely get at least a few dozen visors along with the caps. I've been asking for them every year, and she finally replied that she had no idea what a visor was. So I did a google search and sent a screenshot of the first page. She replied "oh, you mean tennis hats." So I googled "tennis hats" and the first page only had two visors, so I sent a screenshot of that.

With the exception of hunting flooded corn, they’re just “playing second fiddle”.

Bahahaha. I have never heard of anyone call them a tennis hat. In fact, I could count on one hand how many visors I’ll see in a year up here.

My entire crew down south wore them plus the extra one to hang on the rear view mirror. That was an absolute necessity.

I imagine it was just a regional thing. Just tickled me to hear the same thing two days in a row. Oh, and I don't have one on my mirror. I hang two pair of Costas there, and neither has white frames.
