Do you smash a hen at first light???

    Well that's the catch: at first light, you won't know if that's the only one you'll see all day or if an hour later you'll be covered in sprig and can only watch the show. With the limit going down to one this year, I will likely still shoot the first one that comes in range, and then I'll take out a Canon DSLR with a big lens and see if I can get some cool pictures. Sprig are #1 for me, I think they're the most beautiful and graceful duck... and arguably the tastiest too!

    Shoot it then add 6 more pluck everything but a single wing, chop off feet and head tell green jeans you had one hell of a grey duck shoot. :flame

    Usually a pass but if at bottom of the draw it might not be a pass.
