I bought a 99 dodge quad cab v10 4x4 wrecked and fixed it, when I bought the truck it didn't have the oweners manual with it so here is my question.
My (brake) and my (ABS) lights came on the other day so I checked the pads and they were in need of replacing so I did and I cant get the warning lights claered any suggestions being as that I don't have the oweners manual to rely on???

Alot of the time the sensor gets dirty and requires cleaning. Check you owners manual for th location of the sensor and wash it off. Hope this helps

Check the fluid level. If that is ok, disconnect the battery for about 20 minutes or so. This should reset the computer. If it comes back on, then there is another problem.

Don't ever fool around if you are getting a brake error code. Take it to a reputable mechanic who has the tools to diagnose the ABS fault code and fix it right.

That is a very good idea. However, if the brake replacement was the fix, the computer may not clear itself when it is fixed. If there is still a fault after the battery is reconnected, the light will come back on.

That new of a vehicle could quite possibly have a certain way to reset the warning lights. It may even be a possiblility that you will have to return your truck to the dealer to have them reset the warning lights for you.
