Look up the Dardenne Retriever Club in St. Louis on Facebook. They have a lot of training days and there are some good people to hook up with to train outside of training days.

I've got a year old lab that I train often. I'd meet up to train sometime.

Thanks, our dog is part Lab and part Cataula Leopard Dog, he's 8 months old and pushing 65 lbs. What I'm basically looking for is somebody that can help me out and try to figure out what to do with him, he's to athletic, fast and smart to let sit in the house. I don't think he'll be a good duck dog but you never know.

Teach him to run piles. Pile work is a great way to wear out a dog. Eventually you stretch the distance to the pile and it makes it real easy to run your dog a mile or two.
