Got a double with my triple barrel while pass shooting in the salt marsh.
That looks like Foiles spot
How do you like the triple barrel? Is it a Chiappa? I’ve never talked to anyone who owns one, I’ve been shooting a Browning Cynergy because of jamming issues with semi autos, but like the idea of the third shot especially in September goose season in NJ with 15 bird limit
What happened to the 3rd shot??
It worked great for a few years but not now. Yesterday it didn’t fire when I pulled the trigger for a second shot a few times and I couldn’t remove some spent shells from a chamber. My SBE III doesn’t put the second shell into the chamber after I fire a shot sometimes. Lots of birds escaped this season because of my shotguns malfunctioning. I cleaned and lubed the chambers of my triple barrel. I hope that it works today. I really don’t like a $3,100 one shot semi auto and $1,800 single shot triple barrel shotgun.
You are correct. Golf course. I shot golf course geese when they flew across a salt marsh on their way to their evening roost.
You sound like me I have a Benelli SBE I that I’ve had jamming problems off and on for years, just had it at gunsmith and he found a burr on inside of receiver that was catching shell he got rid of burr and polished it so far it’s good, I always say I’d rather hunt with my over and under then a single shot automatic
Nice birds.I shoot a Browning Maxus don't clean it much no jamming in 4 years. Son has one,he cleans his a little more .than I do,no jamming in 5 years. Just saying.
Yeah looking at new Maxus or Browning A5 not sure which but I ruled out triple barrel today after NJ219bands posts
