We might as well face it, they want Tejas and California back.
Those are American manufactures of drugs.
Try looking one up.
If Americans have to stay out of Mexico and the vacation spots for a few years, tough tootles. They can go elsewhere while we clean up the trash.
The whole reason the Mexican cartels are as strong as they are is because we did that to the Columbian cartels. But then that program was stopped I believe it was called operation snowcap. ( those guys were legit)
Works for me....
I wouldn't mind it at all if we handed the Mexican President an official note..."You stop this, or we will. Pax Americana."
Turn cartel territories into a free fire zone; it isn't that we don't know who they are. We have enough drones, planes, hardware, etc. to handle it, but nobody wants to go Vlad on them and start hanging cartel leader bodies from the border fence as a warning because we are so "civilized".
"But it's a sovereign nation"...that is essentially an accomplice to cartel activity through its inaction or inability to act. Corruption, graft, and participation at all levels are known issues; they either have too little interest or too little ability to stop it, and it is long past time to clean house. Our neighbor to the south is not a friend; he sends family uninvited to eat at our table, has them take money and bring it back to his house to pay his bills, and allows drugs and human trafficking because he is unwilling or unable to do anything about it, while talking about our family being "racist" and "unhospitable" and "un-Christian".
Over 1 Trillion dollars spent on the war on drugs since 1971.And the only thing accomplished is higher quality, cheaper, and more drugs. Look at our war on alcohol The VolsteadAct how did that work out
Are ya sayin' we should give up and let stupidity reign free?
Don't you think this 50 yr war is stupidity in it self.We keep doing the same thing over and over and still end up with the same results .We might need to take a look at how other governments face this problem. I wonder how much money drug cartel donated to keep these drug laws enforced.
