Pancakes with bacon/sausage or a breakfast casserole. Usually make the casserole the night before and warm it up in the campchef oven.
Our normal is either bacon, eggs, and cheese sandwiches or cheeseburgers. Once I brought some marinated Sika deer to grill.
Upside down bisquit sammich. Basically, scrambled eggs with spicy sausage, onions, peppers, topped with cheese & then cover with half bisquits. Put lid on the skillet finish with the cheese melting everything together.
We've got a small stove and a large griddle in our pit. When our main cook does breakfast it's bacon, sausage and biscuits and the best damn brown sausage gravy you ever put down your neck. Even when hunting is real slow I'll go just for the breakfast.
It must suck to have time to cook in a blind. The only time I've ever cooked while on a hunt was when the tide stranded us on and island in the sound. We were going to be there about 8 hours so I got bored and collected a bunch of clams, oysters and mussels. Started a driftwood fire and cooked to kill the boredom.
