You know what, you're onto something here though. I think I may just explore this a little more instead of doing my original idea. I have a TON Of 1x2 wood pieces laying around from other projects on the house. I bet I could make a light weight stained wood door with the acrylic front. I can screw the hinges and the magnet into the wood instead of trusting 3m sticky tape and if there is a rough edge from the cut, it would be hidden from the wood border.I think a old wood window for the cabinet door might be nice to keep the dust off the shelves and calls.
Or make a window frame out of old wood?
Think I just got motivated to get this done this weekend.
