Don't really give a $%^&. With my increasing health issues I will be dead by then and with the state of our country, civil unrest and potential of war in the next 10 years, duck hunting will be one of the last things on our minds. Sorry for being realistic.

In the county I live in the countryside has been swept clean of all the farm houses that once had families that farmed small farms.
No more back lot with brush piles and rabbits or quail thats ancient history but I recall looking for that type of thing to hunt. Drove door to door asking and usually the people were extremely friendly and chatty. Theyd point to a ditch and say "you can hunt there I'll call the owner and set it up"..it really was that easy back in the 1970s.

So many Malthusian fears in just one short thread.
Malthus was wrong 200 years ago and wrong now.

Oh, you will have duck hunting way beyond ten years from now, too much money in it to stop.it...but you might be hunting with sling shots and boomerangs

If I'm lucky enough to pull a tag to shoot a goose in ten years I'll probably still hunt in the Atlantic Flyway.

Add in a few trips beyond the wall and Castle Black and I'll still get my kicks.

Figure I got one or maybe two dogs worth left.
Chatted a while with the puppys pappy and we were both at this point where we almost said "this is the last one". He caved to pressure from family I think and I am too. Once you're a retriever guy its permanent. My grandkids get to be retriever guys too God willing. I pray that we get to continue and have free travel and public access. Many of us depend on that.

In 10 years you had not be older than 50 now. Dussy will still be good, but you can’t do anything about it.

We’ve already got a duck hole and it’s good.
