If you want salt and east coast- Florida. Incredible fishing and some very very good public duck hunting.

im surprised by this. Didn’t know there was much duck hunting in Florida. I have a lot to learn. I keep reading that the ducks aren’t reaching the Chesapeake the easy they used to because of warmer winters. Florida?

but they got gators, big snakes, poisonous snakes and them dang fire ants. I found about the fire ants at a young age just like Maryland chiggers.

I get most of my enjoyment out of working the dog for ducks and geese and don't think i would send my dog out in gator or python country.

Yes lots of teal. Ringnecks galore on fw lakes. Lots of pintail too. Pythons are way south. Areas between jacksonville and space coast are nice. Yes to gators.

Teal and pintail are worth a trip. Guess I’ll have to leave the pup home. Wouldn’t want to risk that situation.
