We have 3 jelly feeders . I have to fill them before work and again when I get home , beautiful birds but the jelly is getting expensive!
I have some Orioles hitting my Hummingbird feeders. Beautiful birds. I am going to put some orange 1/2s out.

We're still a few weeks out from closing on our next slice of paradise, but springtime at the cabin and around town has been perfection...

Up in the clouds!!

I went to two of my favorite places today, Set out some food for the bears, ran the dog, and took a nap,,, Only thing missing was my wife.

Nearest accessible house about 7 mi away

Trail camera, but i can set on the porch and watch these little devils all evening.from just across the driveway.
A couple videos of a mother wood chuck moving her young right toward the fox den, don't know what she's thinking.
A couple rooster pheasant crowing this evening. Too many Goldfinch and Orioles around now to count. I need to check the wood duck boxes behind the house, 2 had hens they should be hatched buy now .
Fun to watch. I feed the fox in my neighborhood,,,

Only sad part; neighbors with chickens have fencing problems

At my daily spot (recliner where I drink coffee), I can look to my left at my 160,000 acre pond or straight ahead at a woodpecker compromised power pole which is currently hosting a pair of redheads and a pair of flickers. Due to lake, lots of “edge” and plenty of hardwoods, the number of birds and species is amazing.

Think I’m gonna finish this cup of coffee and go fish before work.
