This is fall up here, going to go check a creek that has been holding greenheads later today. Not sure wether to kick them off and lay against the cutbank in a snow suit or just jump em and get what I can.

Fall and Winter are my Favorite seasons .... Love the weather , Overcast days , cold , fog , rain and snow ... One of my Steelhead holes

It’s been frozen over here for over three weeks. Temperatures last week hit 40 degrees in the daytime, but got down to single digits most nights. I’ve been checking the pond daily, but it’s been a skating rink. Yesterday a single hen mallard jumped from the corner. I thought WTH? I walked over there and saw a single, 3’ circular piece of open water. Good for her.
