more of a "game" fish than most folks think. A 20 lb'r., out in a boat on an open lake on a 3 wt. Flyrod can occupy quite a few hours of your day.
I caught a 26 lb'r. on a 6 weight once and it took over an hr. to net it.
Carp!....the other dark meat!
Actually, Bluegill are my favorite on a Flyrod, then Trout, then Smallies. I caught 26 "Gills yesterday but none big enough for the pan. Great little fighters and really great in the skillet.
