Yeah Raven, I didn’t have much of a problem disassembling my Gold & I believe they’re the same
It was cause from guys bouncing their stocks on the ground an bumping the bolt out of battery I never had it happen... but that's the main cause of it or another is not letting the action slam shut
FIFY. SBEs are rattle traps, similar to AKs. Just the way they are. I love how an issue inherent to one (and only one) design type, is an operator ‘issue’. Smart operators compensated for it, but it was there in any rotating bolt, inertia gun, while NOT in any other type of semi. No point in defending it.
Maybe I'll be the odd guy here, but as of yet, my favorite semi is without a doubt, my Remington Versa Max. It's the waterfowl pro version. I did get a Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus a few weeks ago...... time will tell if I keep it, or trade it for another Versa Max.
Right there with you on the VersaMax. As far as waterfowl guns, I’ve not found anything better- and I’ve owned or own most of the other popular models out there. It’s very easy to clean, surprisingly soft shooting, and I’ve never had a jam. It wouldn’t be my first choice for an upland gun due to it’s heft, but it’s a superb waterfowl piece.
Beretta, Beretta, Berettas!
391 Xtrema. A-400 Xtreme. A-400 Xplor Unico
Dr dux you forget the best ones ever 303 and 390
Got a 390, but not used for waterfowl!
Fixed it for ya!
I always liked the Xtrema I better than the Xtrema II.
