My guess is right around the corner from where you live.

My first purchase (transaction) using Bitcoin was a Pot Belly sandwich.
LIPPY! YOU NEVER DISAPPOINT! ROTFLMAO!

So now you're claiming that you had bitcoin in your hard wallet, sold bitcoin for USD, had the the USD put on a card and then used the card to buy a sandwich? :l :l :l :l :l

Problem with you claim is that your link for Bitnovo offers a prepaid debit card in Euros that can be recharged using Bitcoins instantly.

So you bought a PotBelly Sandwich with Euros? :no :no :no :no :no

If you used Bitstamp - there is a flat $10 fee for amounts up to $1000. :l :l :l :l :l

Soooooo... how much was the sammich before tacking on the Bitstamp transaction fee? FWIW, some local businesses are adding a fee to all charges paid by credit card. There is no added amount for cash payments.

All this is why barter (the original ‘currency”) will always be out there. Commodities will always carry the day.

You’ve finally posted a source. Did you not read it first? :no

Reading thru the process of claiming that your “first Bitcoin transaction was when you used Bitcoin to buy a sandwich” in reality you used a debit card with cash on it to buy a sandwich. :yes

Bitstamp has a flat $10 fee for amounts up to $1000. He claims his first Bitcoin purchase was for a potbelly sandwich. So if he sold enough to buy a sandwich the flat fee would still be $10. He claims he keeps his bitcoin in his own wallet so he’d have to first go thru an Automated Clearing House network to process the transaction from Bitcoin to $ - that would involve additional fees. Sell the Bitcoin at the ask price. Get paid in euros (he should know why but I bet he doesn’t :no ) exchange the euros for USD, then put the USD on a debit card. Then buy a sandwich with cash on the debit card. :l

Bitpay is virtual like ApplePay. Potbelly wasn’t accepting virtual payment “Approximately 7 years ago.”. :no

I give @Lip Shooter 5 Lippy’s!

Lippy,

You’re now claiming that you used a debit card from the link you provided to show how approximately 7 years ago you purchased a sandwich?

But you started a thread just a few years ago claiming that you “have yet to see the value in obtaining a debit card”.
:yes

You claimed in that thread that there was “zero benefit for me to have a debit card.”
:yes
