As I was walking out, after a mallard limit, he hollered at me “hey partner whatcha blowin?” I yelled back “a duck call!” I could hear him laughing, and I yelled back “a cold weather fan by RM custom calls.” He yelled “it a cutdown?” I said “nope, the way i present my air into it makes it sound like one.” He hollered back and said “sounded great buddy, I’ll look em up”

They make a great Christmas gift too. I bought a friend one of the numbered goldflake alpha's and gave it to him early for Christmas last year. It's the only call he uses now

I've said it before: Not everything Stump puts out appeals to me...but all of appeals to someone.

CASE IN POINT: My friend & his wife stopped over earlier tonight. Mildly stated...he is a 'Potterhead' as many here seem to be. He even has collectable 'wands' and such other things I know nothing about. Yes, gentle readers...he's a nut. He is NOT...however...a duck hunter. He'll chase roosters with me here in SD on occasion, but staunchly refuses to (as he puts it) "sit freezing in the f****** mud!" When I showed him this new RMC offering...his world went sideways. He all but demanded I buy one. I calmly explained I have other CWF's, I've never seen any of the movies, and he knows it. "BUT YOU GOTTA!!" Just before he left I showed him the RMC homepage and explained these limited offerings go fast so he better jump.

In short (if any of these calls are left)...Stump will likely be selling a call to a man that doesn't duck hunt...has never owned a call...and has no idea how to blow it. There is an old cliche' about a drowning man and the purchase of a glass of water...
