It's been a rough year with my bow. I usually have no trouble getting a couple in Sept. But this year I just couldn't close the deal. Saw plenty of deer and shot at three. Missed one, had an arrow deflected and nicked a doe, then hit a buck right in the shoulder who walked off like nothing happened. Yesterday I was about to get down and saw a small buck walking out about 150 yds. I rattled at it - nothing. I bleated at it - nothing. I grunted at it loud - it turned and came in like it was on a rope! Six point about 100 pounds but I'm proud to get it!
Awesome!!! How am I just seeing this? I clearly don’t spend enough time on the fuge. Rough year for me as well on the der, I feel your pain.
