what point are you trying to make with this post? is it we should all stop lighting off fireworks for celebration due to how toxic it is?

Frankly, I am more worried about falling bullets during the 4th of July and New Years than I am fireworks but I do worry a bit about someone catching the woods on fire around me when we have dry 4th's.

My solution after my first 4th here. Head to the high country in the morning - buck up a cord of doug fir - spend the night under the stars - drive back the next morning. DSC01202.JPG

That means I'd breath the toxic air.

    Smart gets out of town.

Made a poor decision a couple of years ago and stayed at home - probably a dozen areas of concentrated fireworks until 1 am within 1 mile of my house. The smoke hung heavy throughout the neighborhood. I love my lungs too much to inhale that bad crap again. Really don't want to get the virus either and I live in a F#$&ing hot spot and 1000's that believe in herd immunity.

I truly enjoy the geography of the area but the people are bullies and ********.

I'm so sorry for you. I don't have that problem - I am human and us humans have respiratory systems with the ability to regenerate damaged lung cells.

Move to California, you will be safer there, being like minded people! Talk as many of your liberal friends into following you to! There’s a reason people don’t like you there!!
