First Arrivals have shown up

    Got a call last night that a small flock of snows have already shown up in upper SK.
    Was also told good numbers of dark geese and cranes on the move the last few days .

    I'm heading out on Tuesday so I'll let everyone know what I find out.

    Sounds about right...seems the first few smaller flocks show up where we go the second week of Sept. Can make for an easier less intense set up on those first smaller flocks.

    First cranes have moved in down here in Nodak so it's about that time of year again.

    Saw 3 snows a couple days ago,,, specks are starting to pile in now though,,, all pretty much par for the course for this time of year here.

    Still no cranes or specks in the Sacramento area, looks like a very late start this year.
