All of the sheet water off post past Rogers DZ is flat loaded with geese and puddlers right now. Too much water everywhere, birds are scattered all over the place.

Yeah we are taking this week off too. I might get out one more time for the season but maybe not. It is high time to get on some other things I am doing that will probably be much more productive. Building a green house for one, so a whole bunch to do. Hard to get motivated to go out and get one duck. Good luck to all those out there getting after it.

Hunted area 2 today and only goldeneyes and buffies. Oh and a very large bald eagle who got one of my goldeneyes. Nice day just no ducks. Hunted area 12 yesterday same thing except a few mallards too. Lots and lots of water and trees down. Muck creek is roaring.

That eagle has snagged a lot of my birds! Shotguns going off is just a dinner bell to him.

Saw a few more birds yesterday, but they were mostly in flooded fields spread out everywhere. 2 of us did get 2 drake Pintails and 2 widgeon. Had many opportunities at more pintail ......
