First duck hunting, next football. So what do you do to make it through till next season?

Transition pup back to me from the trainer, likely run a few hunt tests so lots of training. Fishing. Likely will do so reloading of shotgun shells after a 35 year hiatus, found deals so pretty much have my decoy replacements in storage, put in rear window and doors on the ranger, so a little more comfortable on the 4 mile run to the blinds.

Heading back to Idaho to finish building our home. Duck season starts Oct 1st there. This year worked out great. We left just before the extreme colds and got back to our home here with the migration. Never a down time with no birds...still cant believe the number of birds that made it down to us this year...............except the mallards
