What else needs to be said? Is everyone ready?
Nope, no water, so I'm in LA today and will be in AR this weekend. Good chance I won't mess with ducks in TN for at least a few more weeks.
Hopefully the rain comes, you get water, and the birds will follow. In the mean time, good luck and be safe!
It will take a lot of rain. We can’t get to our main hunting location, so I guess we are just gonna get in the side by side and drive until we hit water and hope we see some ducks. Not much else I can do.
Ready but will be in KY quail hunting thru Tuesday then I will be at the foot. Mixed results from 2 day in ones I talked to. One report from MO was also slow. Normally with dry weather the foot does good. Let it rain and back water gets out they leave. One needs to be flexible in the world of duck hunting.
Some places stomped 'em over the weekend, but they'll run out of ducks quick.
We had about what I expected.... Good shoot on Saturday, on the birds we've had a couple weeks and then really slow Sunday . Doesn't take long to educate the locals.
Quail hunt got moved a week so I will be "Hunting for Food" this weekend.
