Hahaha that's funny as hell.
Where? I had trouble finding room for a tent on a huge wma
Ive been there when there were over 400 rigs.
They count daily. Average this year was 70. Biggest day? ~200. It's not like it was

Since the fields in the bottoms are leveed, not really. And who in the world is going to pay to hire people to go out and try to make that judgement call? The situation usually begins with a really wet fall preventing some of the harvest. Some fields end up flooding due to rivers backing up. Others catch runoff. And still others catch and hold water when a water control structure is closed up on a contractually agreed upon date. The latter is common with normal ag field leases which are the most common private hunting in this part of the world. The others can impact tens of thousands of acres in a region.
:tu Definitely could turn into a "be careful what you ask for" kind of scenario

I'm pretty sure you're thinking barney bear.
The cartoon had a time clock..Ducks dancing on the boat until the clock says shooting time then they're gone up in the sky crisscrossing.
Lots of funny stuff the then clock strikes noon? And the ducks are dancing on the boat again.
Cha cha cha cha CHA
QUACK....

SOUND FAMILIAR?
it's barney bear

Tom and Jerry did duck hunting too.
Cat wings a baby drake mallard...

Anything good is gone online.
This is as close as it gets .
Gun and duck call....and you can't watch it because of that gun.
Damn. I tried.
That’s the one !

The field I lease is 750 acres and farmed for beans. The farmer leases farming rights from the owner just like we lease hunting rights, so he absolutely wants to harvest the crop as that's the only way he gets paid. Three years ago he was unable to get about 30% of the beans, and many fields weren't harvested at all. Two years ago he was unable to plant at all. This past year he couldn't plant about 20% of the field, but he had a huge yield on the rest. Part he couldn't plant grew up in coffee beans and cockleburrs and held tons of ducks all season.

It's been too late for decades then.

Some days there are just a handful of hunters.
Others a lot. Then out of the blue its packed for a day or two then back to a handful again. If hunting is good its good for that many.
If it's good the woods sound like a battle zone

Would what you are calling coffee beans also be known as Sesbania in Oklahoma and Indigo in Louisiana?
