Well produced video and a nice shoot. They also included some good info on a variety of subjects.

It's a small area they're hunting. And they show some clean kill shots. How many of you would join Fred on a hunt in this spot? If given the opportunity, I would be there in a minute, flooded corn and all.

They are very common out this way. I would say just about every day I have an opportunity at them. Especially the last half of the season. Beautiful birds.

Fred said it was brush hogged before there was any corn. Places I have hunted with corn in many cases just lift up the planter or mow it after 3 or 4 weeks after it sprouts. They have enough feed with the remaining corn, don't need to be stupid and brush hog mature corn right before floodup. Plus if you looked, if mowed that close to flood up wouldn't have the barnyard grasses as they would have been mowed .

The name of the game is killing ducks...flood it all....more will make it back from flooding than will die from hunting.
