Need to do just that... Have only shot one round since we moved from Waukesha in 2011. Just found a club last week that has sporting clays in the UP right on our way to camp. They shoot Fridays. I have my son and son in law on the hook. Sagola Township Sportsman's Club.
Looking forward to shooting again. My wife and myself went from shooting in league at Wern for 15 years to nada.
It’s a nice little course, 50 bird round. Bring a beverage or 6, after shooting a little socializing under a pavilion. You can bring burgers or brats also, there’s a grill there too. Don’t forget about United Sportsmen’s INC. in Merriman, MI. just north of Iron Mountain. They shoot on Saturday’s.

We shot the "one round" at United. Their schedule doesn't match up. We head to camp every Friday afternoon. We shot with a nice young fella. He did a really good job coaching for son. Settled him down nicely. Taught him shooting was all for fun.
Met up with the treasure of Sagola last week and he described the course fairly well. My son and I also went through CC course there last year. Seem like regular guys!

Well who’s the best shot?? Goosenazi. :scratch
Nazi switched hands between shots so it’s pretty hard to compare against that. I shot offhand on every station and @woodiefanatic shot true pairs while everyone else did report for the most part. Pretty sure @#1WATERFOWLER had the best score on the course we all shot together. Some of them shot the super sport after and they didn’t really talk about scores on that one, but I bet they were quite a bit lower than the first course.

Way to go! Did Noah use the Nova riot shotgun to get that goose?

No, he used the Winchester. He shot very well today. Close range and 70 yards plus.

We had one pass shoot from the road ditch, where to our surprise 350ish snow geese landed thirty yards right in front of us. The super nova would have been perfect but too many other geese and ducks mixed in with the snows so we shot a pair of flying Ross’ geese at 15 yards.
