Fun Minnesota trip

    I had a fun trip this fall out to Minnesota. Chase did an excellent job of retrieving birds for his first full season.

    Have managed to get a few birds here too.

    Very nice you see many pheasants out there? When I pass through there on the way to SD it looks very nice.

    I managed 3-8 bird flushes for an average 1.5 hour hunt on public land. In the west central area the bird numbers were decent this year so you could see some driving around in the mornings/evenings. Probably would have seen more birds per hunt if I hunted further to the southwest. The birds were spread out and not bunched up like you might find in the Dakotas.
