Left town to check cows, saw the diesel went down from 5.29 to 5.09. Get back to town a couple hours later and those same pumps went to 5.19.

Driving to Florida next with the family from South Dakota. Booked the Condo in Jan 2021. Was thinking it would be cheap to drive, not so much anymore. 1700 miles one way. Only money though

What good is a product if people can’t afford to use it

If they couldn't afford to use it then demand would drop and so would price. That is clearly not happening. People (on the whole) have not adjusted their behavior yet.

Our gas finally went up today from $ 399.9 to $ 409.9.

So far the highest gas I've seen in the Illinois Quad-Cities is $4.899. That same station had been $4.099 several days before. That day, I filled up at $4.299. As I drove back thru the Cities, stations had routinely gone up 30 to 40 cents in a matter of two hours.

Put $50 worth of $3.99 unleaded into my highly efficient '07 Tundra last night before driving my daughter 70 miles to a soccer game. The game was then called 10 minutes in on account of a thunderstorm that rolled in...a thunderstorm that some moron couldn't detect on radar even though that radar had been lit up all green and read like a Christmas tree for at least two hours prior to the game! Waited out the storm while eating a burger and then drove the 70 miles back. That was $50 well spent. Oh well. Bonding time with my daughter, right? (Even though she slept the whole way there....)

Gig Harbor, WA - 4.65 is the low and 5.29 is the high.

Gas is rolling up here now....4.29 for unleaded, 5.15 for diesel. Thanks Brandon!
