Looking for an extended run gas cap for my Champion 3800 watt generator. I can’t find any for this make/model and have been on about every site and called champion. Is anyone familiar with a site that may carry these?
    Thanks

    Have you checked Ebay?
They have them for the 2000
    Are the caps the same?

I sent champion an email but haven’t heard back. I can find caps for about every champion except the 3800. Now if I had a Honda or Generac we’d be in business.

If you can find an extra cap, you could build one yourself. Plenty of DIY video's and instructions out there.

I think that’s the route we’re taking. Wish I would have done this in August and not 2 days before a big freeze up

I could never get my fuel cap to work.
I would think a T to the shutoff valve with another shutoff valve would work as long as you could gravity feed it. Im not familiar with the champions though.

Called champion again and they don’t make such an animal but the guy is sending me a free replacement cap. We will experiment with that and if it works I’ll post up some picks.

YouTube has a video of a guy Making his own. He shows all the parts needed.
