Well, I played my first 18 since 4.5 years ago since my back surgery and hand reconstruction. I forgot how much I used to enjoy the game, friends and BS'ing.

I'm very sore now, tomorrow will be a great time getting out of bed, but I earned it. 52 feels not like 22, too much football, weights, wrestling and treating my body like a bumper car. But, I'm grinning.

Be well boys. Live long and enjoy.

The last time I played it turned into a very destructive version of Polo using carts & such .... we were asked to leave & not return :dv

Glad you were able to get back at it. It’s definitely a challenging game & played in some beautiful places.

I was never into golf, but was a cart boy at a San Diego course for a short time. I had an older coworker who would always buy me beer and we would go out for joy rides on the carts and get hammered. I got fired for flipping a cart, but not before my garden flowered behind some bushes on the 11th hole

Ya know what, late at night sneak in and there can be some awesome fishing on golf course ponds. Ya never know what people dump into them. I even caught a pacu on an SD county golf course.

A golf game may just do me in for good these days. I played a year ago after sitting out a couple years for surgeries. Took me 9 holes to get loose then three holes to tighten up.
    Bailed early.

I have to say the fishing on some of these courses is exceptional. Tag along with my foursome and bring the fly rod along is the way to go. Skip the golf and fish.
