    Bronze, blue, gray, white, cobb head...just a magnificent looking bird! Sometimes I wish I still hunted them but I just don't have time in the spring.

    I love those snows and blues and rossies. I wish they migrated through Wisconsin! :(

    Only two of the > 1,500 greater snow geese that I shot in NJ were blue geese, an adult and a juvenile. Blue phase greater snow goose are very rare. I don’t see many snows in NJ anymore. I was very fortunate to shoot at least one every season since they became legal to hunt in the 1970s.

    You've shot a lot of snows. How much bigger are the greaters?
