    JUST ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF CALIF.
    Ya I seen that and asked.. he didn’t think so. It’s like the skin is rotten when u pick them it tears like a abscess belly.

    The some of the widgeon were the same rotted areas in the belly’s skin tears eazy black and stinky.

    This was a very warm duck season with almost no run off water. Lots of shallow, warm ponds. Blue-green algae is my guess.

    Duck picker said it was diet; grass. Wigeon=grass ducks; later in season specks, honks, snows and mallards get it too. Diet, diet, diet

    Get duck fan on this . A few 7 page emails and 11 minute voice mails and stuff will happen. I’m setting the over/under at 17.5

    This is the second green duck thread in months.
    It was determined that the green is fungus bacteria or mold from what the bird is eating.

    Pet theory: GMO grains do the magic they do by ALLOWING EXTRA FUNGUS MOLDS AND BACTERIA TO FLOURISH IN THE PLANT. <--- (That is a fact)
    The damage done to these ducks is from eating gmo grains and we will never ever find out the truth. Science won't allow it.

    no splatter @ss here just a regular old spoon. only rice breasted bird all season

    late season specks snows and wigeon are skinny, grass smelling and nasty. Just the way she goes
