GSL???

Hopefully someone sees this...I know this is kind of a dead forum these days.

Anyways...I have some hunting buddies interested in hunt the GSL this winter. My question is simply this...is a hunt January 1st or later feasible? I feel like it is not, but could be wrong. I have to imagine winter has sunk its teeth by then.

It all depends. What do you want to do? Do you have access to an air boat? Hopefully there will be more water this year then years the past few years so that could change things.

No airboat, mud boats of all types though.

I'm mostly just wondering if the lake and surrounding marshes are typically huntable in January, and if there's ducks left. I imagine most are gone by then. What and how we'd hunt would be determined upon arrival.
