Gun play at Modesto res.

Somebody, a hunter got shot at Modesto Res. last sun back in the trees. The patrol boat was back there trying to find out what happened.

This was on dec 7. Are things that bad there where people are shooting at each other ?.

Anybody got the strait poop ?.

Damn, jet skiers......... That is news to me Kevin, hunt the "other lake" but word gets around. That's pretty sad, if someone shot another. I have got a little ticked at a couple of the knuckleheads out there, maybe go over and kick their ***, but to shot one

wow thats news to me. i dont think i was up that day and i havnt heard anything. caliduckbuster is in the trees this year so maybe he can shed some light on the subject. if someone did get shot it would have to have been by someone in the same blind cause the blinds are spaced 300 yards apart at a minimum. i know alot of guys will take some runs up the channel for woodies which is a no no, so thats a possibility.

Alright folks heres the deal with the modesto resv tree problem.

To start i want to point out

1) 4 year old kids have no business in being in a drawing for a blind at the lake...and even worse a grandparent/ parent should not be able to take advantage of one for that reason...

2) In the rules and regulations that everyone must abide by..it states No two blinds will be closer than 300 yards apart, unless trees, obstacles and a signed waiver from both parties is present.

Blind 53 was drawn by a four year old kid that was not even present at the drawing. a delay on that blind's pick resulted.

Blind 54 (Mine) was chosen next (obviosly) and pinned accordingly in the Lower Channel.

Well Blind 53's draw was disqualified, and wow the grandfathers name was first on first come first server ( a little fishy eh?) well he was able to pin the spot he thought was the one he wanted after everyone else.

Turns out it was not the spot he wanted. for the first two weeks he had his blind 150 yards from ours. we complained ...he threatened...he was forced to move...well now he is supposively 270 some odd yards and no one has signed a waiver to be closer than 300 yards. they are facing directly at us and continue to barrage us with shot. suspicion was aroused of them hunting out of there blind and closer to us.

So... Rumors change from getting pelted to getting shot in the face...and rumors change from them pushing their way around the officials to us in the wrong spot (bullying them to moving).

Well MR. BILL LORDATELLI if your going to cheat atleast pin the right spot so no one can pin near you to complain. and Dont threaten my Father when you get caught doing it. You wont get even...

Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I've heard bad things about this guy from another Modesto Res. hunter. Sounds like you could have just saved a seasons worth of launch fees and gone to a refuge and got the same thing.

I am glad that there was no gun play.

That buttface has been running over people there for a long time. I am glad to see that you are making him obey the rules.

Seems like a couple of other people who's name ends in a vowel need correcting also. They are always involved in all the disputes.

I hope that they have not ruined your season.

cali- i talked to keith the other day and he explained it all to me, im glad you got on here and told the story cause i wouldnt have been able to do it as good. your cousin will tell you all about our troubles with him last year. he said we sky busted all our birds when in fact he shot birds higher than anyone ive ever seen. in fact hes partially why we pinned the big water this year so we wouldnt have to hunt next to him. oh well you guys are hammering the birds from what i hear. keep it up
