A little background interview on Habitat Flats. Love him or hate him, he seems like a well grounded man with a vision, a good sense of business, and a better sense of habitat management. He feeds far more ducks than he kills.

I like his style, I like his videos and I like his philosophy on duck habitat management.

I hunted there for 3 day's, shot limit's with a D.A.V. wheelchair bound friend. Never once hunted flooded corn.

The nicest bunch of people in the the waterfowl community. The cook, the kid's, the church ladies dropping of baked goods, going to the pickers (wayward girls home..... that's a story in itself)

Staying at their lodge was like being with family not some high dollar gunning club.

Tony is 100% the real deal, he came in from scouting a spot where Rick, Aaron, and Aarons father were to hunt.
He was so excited and pumped about the plan you would have thought he was a teenager.

The highlight of the trip wasn't the shooting or the calling ( Both world class) but to watch the evening flights of birds coming into the moist soil managment area's. A sight and a sound I will always remember.

That was filmed at "Love Pond" no feed what so ever. Not a roosting pond either.

I personally know 3 guys who have guided there. One of which is current and is in the video series playing now. All 3 say that from a hunting perspective that it's "smoke and mirrors".
