The Browning reproduction Model 20 gauge were all 2-3/4" as far as I know. I don't think the original Model 12 20s were ever chambered in 3". The only 3" Model 12s 12 gauge I've seen are the Heavy Duck model.

My grandkids are shooting my mother's old 20 ga. Model 12, which my father cut down for her smaller frame . It's a killin' machine.

It's Still "We The People", right??
I recently purchased a 20ga Model 12 from a collection. This gun was made in 1954 I believe, has a full choked barrel and is 2 3/4. It is in near mint condition and I paid 600 bucks for it. It was a chance encounter, but I was buying some old decoys from an old gentleman who doesn't hunt ducks anymore, and asked if he had any Model 12s to sell. He said he had several but was not selling them. 6 months later he called me, so you never know.
