While your state can be more restrictive, this link is to the federal regulations. With so many questions, I suggest folks give it a good look.

Is it still legal for me to throw my ducks in a trash can after the hunt?

Yes, unless your state has a more restrictive law.

So, as long as I am within the limit, I can still stuff teal down my waders?

Is that a teal in your waders or are you just happy to see me?

Also should note that most (if not all) states have a "concurrence with Federal Regulations" clause in their hunting regs. This basically says that Federal Migratory Bird Laws are also state laws except in situations where the state statute is more restrictive than the Fed statute. A lot of guys think that a state warden is only going to write tickets for state violations and can't/isn't going to write a ticket for violating a Federal statute, problem is that the above clause makes Fed law the state law as well.

I’ll pay $20 to watch you stuff 6 live teal in your waders.
