Here we go again. Texas school shooting

why would an 18 yo get to a place where he thinks it's ok to kill elementary school kids?

Sadly they are reporting 18 students killed, monsters live and walk among us.

These poor kids are gone, we are not protecting our children.

Three previous mass school shootings, what security measures were in place to stop a monster from walking in and doing this.

Apparently not enough, but controlling the access is the answer, I believe, to prevent this from happening again. Schools should be locked and patrolled by armed security. Entries should be locked and closely monitored. More SRO's. Lot's of things could be done. If we can send $40 bn to another country for their security, surely we can fund more security for our schools.

It's a terrible tragedy, and each new one seems to just get worse than the last. Pray for the lost children and their families.

The convenient timing of this shooting for this administration is suspect. So many of the shootings that have happened in the last 10 years seem to happen right when they want to introduce legislation for gun control, or to stop legislation like the hearing protection act. Hard for me to believe these are random acts.

Allow teachers to carry concealed. Require extra training to be authorized to do so. Keep it secret who is and isn't. That is the best solution available.

The puppet and chief just stated deer don’t wear Kevlar vest, maybe three or four paragraphs of words and then blaming assault rifles.

Government kills more of its citizens then anything else.

This country has turned away from what made us great. Morality and doing the right thing are looked at as something for chumps. The only way this gets fixed is in the home, the private and quiet domain of each household. Proper behavior needs to be modeled for children in the home. The people committing these acts are broken. They are broken because of a failure of parenting. There is a catastrophic failure of fatherhood in this country. The lack of fathers loving and parenting their children is the root cause of this. Single mothers, radical feminism, liberal ideology, and moral relativism is the cancer that is destroying this country.

We can harden every school and the shooting won't stop. The causes and the broken people need addressed before we see any change.

Joe once again blamed the firearm, the mechanized object. Didnt talk about the deranged mind of Ramos. Thinks gun selling between friends and family without a background check is the problem. Thinks black military style rifles are the problem, not the human POS that pulls the trigger . Thinks that black rifles aren't used for hunting when they are very popular. Thinks its the gun lobby’s fault not the sick minded individual. Der don’t wear kevlar vests…….yeah, right Joe…..they don’t.
