Hevi X pellet count.

    The Hevi-X shot I have is definitely NOT made by compression-forming, it is made from a melted/atomized (thermal) process. This is clearly demonstrated by the inconsistent shapes, sizes, 'snowmen', and wire tails. This would also rule out the "polymer" component....
    Once again, Evironmetal's shotshells are proving to be one big (expensive) question mark.

    The latest Bismuth from RotoMetals has a 9.6 g/cc and is reasonably round in shape as the #4's I have patterned seem to fly just right .
    I can say , they do knock the Tar out of 45 yd Mallards and ......they're easy to reload with standard Lead componants . I find them to be
    very useful in between HW 13 and Steel Shot as they provide the necessary energy with better pattern density for those longer shots
    where Steel just doesn't have enough !
