Talked to a guy at check station today pretty bleak. He said they've killed 50 for the year and said 35 of those were on opening day. Last 2 weeks they have killed 3 ducks!!!!! 2020 Sucks!!!!!

This season is strange ive seen lots of strange things. Road hunters have the deer and coyotes living in towns. Farmer City, DeLand, and Weldon all have animals roaming town at night.
    I suppose DeWitt does too.
The ducks aren't under any pressure at all hardly. Geese don't even use the beach anymore because I think ppl with air rifles are sniping them.
Its tough keeping legal when I see so much rotten.
    No gw sighted this yr.
    Strange..

Horseshoe Bar and Grill (used to be Ouidas) is still good for a burger and beer.
There's a metric chit ton of ducks there...they are just 100% nocturnal.

I could post pics of rafting ducks.
They dont even act normal this year ive watched rafts before its how I learned calling because the hens in a raft do pretty much what we try to do. That's all its good for tho.

Nothing about 2020 is normal. Im seeing coyotes and deer in towns across east Central IL. Ive never seen anything like it.
    I'm blaming road hunters.
