Got my first goose decoys from Davis hunt club, in the late 80’s. They got alot of new shell decoys every year and they gave me the ones that got replaced. Back then Davis’s ran a huge feedlot and last I heard they had rice and cotton there now. Man, how things have changed in 25-30 years.
Made the trip to Cape yesterday evening. I agree with you duck man.
My highest count would have been buzzards sadly. Ever optimistic with this approaching cold front.
Anybody know if Horseshoe or Union have picked up many birds the past few days? Also, have the water levels for the blinds at Horseshoe improved much with the rain, or maybe even with some more pumping? Was there in mid December and many holes were dry.
