I have a permit for Horseshoe coming up. Last I heard they hadn’t killed many ducks. Anyone know what their total is so far? The number I was told cannot be right... 80 for the season?

A friend of mine hunted there a week ago Friday and kill total was in the 70s then so it's probably correct. Not many permit holders are showing up and there is no standby hunting allowed this year so the number of hunters per day is low.

There has to be a reason why the number of hunters is low. I think you just answered that question.
