    Silence from most media.

"Increasing numbers of Houston residents have reportedly been diagnosed with COVID-19 after attending protests against the death of George Floyd.

Large protests began in the city days after the death of Houston native Floyd, an unarmed black man who died while police custody in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 25. Texas has been experiencing a surge of new COVID-19 cases. Harris County, which encompasses Houston, has been adding hundreds of new cases each day to the more than 17,000 total confirmed cases reported as of Monday"

The Bar scene is also contributing to this.

It is definitely getting interesting here. Millions of dollars in lost July 4th tourism revenue along the coast. It is going to be the final nail in the coffin for some smaller hospitality business operations.

Previously opened Beaches closed...bars closed...tourist venues closed.

I’ve personally know three people that have been rushed to ERs with breathing issues. Young healthy people. Not party folks.

    Stay well everyone.

This mayor leaves office next week for health reasons.

It looks to me as if they accomplished what they wanted: 1) protested and rioted (probably) and looted (likely) and 2) spread the virus to keep it going (anything to disrupt the normal) while at the same time, being mostly young, will likely suffer little with the virus.

Is that why the media is silent?

The kids in Minneapolis were told if they were going to go out protesting, looting and rioting that they better put on clean underwear and wear a mask at all times. But did they listen? Nooooooo....

    Shocking.

Huge spike down here in the hospitals. I know who went to the protests or had family members that went. I’m keeping track of names...

I hope that the peaceful protesters have a speedy recovery and don't suffer any aftereffects.

The violent rioters can suffer a miserable slow painful death. I won't lose any sleep over it.
