I had planned on being there but due to work I wasn't able to get down there. Could you share what was talked about.

Thanks,

In a nutshell they are adding two new marsh areas, and working to fix the rail marsh. Looking at doing work behind lake for hunting units too. Office is supposed to get moved up by Sabic, but Senator Jim Tomes was there and he is looking for a way to get some funding to build a office at the orgonal spot by the lake. Meeting was 2.5 hours long. I'm sure I missed some other smaller items but I'm sure Nick or Scott would fill you in if you call the office also.

Right now they are just cleaning things up from not being touched in 20 years. Rail marsh is back full with all the recent rain, but Im sure the plan is to drain it again if weather permitting. Give them a call and ask for Nick or Scott.

Seen the area by Sabic are they still planning on building there or did Tomes get some funding to rebuild there by the lake? Personally I think it's gonna be a bigger mess at boat ramp the further away it gets.

From what I was told the draws will be held at the office down by the dam this season. Their plans are to still move the office, but I heard Tomes wanted more info recently.

Good all they'd need to do is set up where they can still use that trailer just take it to the original spot and put water and electric hook ups like in a mobile home. Disconnect it and move trailer when waters about to get out down there! Wouldn't that hard!
