Mike - Only about half the permits are showing, so you can pretty much chop you position in half for draw. If you have wind on the day probably worth going.
Hunted down there Sunday. Pretty slow and only about 8 or 10 parties showed up. Only got two ducks with the #2 pick, pit #7, and neither one was a goldeneye.
Thanks my buddy really wants to go but it’s 5 hrs and only 1 permit I have 2 for the last weekend one is second choice so I might head down pretty much for a scouting mission all my contacts there have retired and not racing guys for the firing line
What’s going on at union they won’t even Answer the dang phone !
They are sleeping quit bothering them.

Mike - Try this number, direct to the check station. 618-833-2313. The office number is the one that ends in 5175, and we all know office people....
They are by the railroad Bridge.
They have no clerical anymore.
They have one full time staff member currently (and 3 part time /seasonal kids).
I'd maybe cut em a little slack.
However, I'm sure the inspector general's office, superintendent, ethics officer and regional land manager would love to know if they are sleeping while on the company clock. Feel free to call one or all of those people....I betcha nobody does, though.
