Shows how much attention I pay to things, always thought Beau Whoopie was a 10ga. And never knew you dated Mom, either.

12 gauge AH Fox with barrels by Burt Becker built for the new Winchester 3" load.

He also had the same shotgun in 20 gauge and shot a Merkel .410 every now and then.

Primarily shoot an Affinity 26" with Carlsons LM. Mostly Kent 3s and 4s with 2s on windy days. Also really like Kent upland steel 5s early season or when a lot of teal are around. I've been shooting 20s exclusively for about 4 years . Really see no reason to shoot those barbaric 12 gauges anymore.

Local Boy Will Brantley had the chance to shoot it down at Beaver Dam!

I remember it well. I've shot ducks with an AH at Beaver Dam, but it wasn't that one.

In all candor, his writing didn't appeal to me, so I guess I ***umed a cannon by the silly a--ed name he gave his gun.

Skybusting is skybusting. Call it what you will but it causes birds to stall at longer and longer ranges, just the same as when people miss. Nash was a skybuster.

That’s why I let them land. If I ground pound them at 60+ yards, it’s not sky busting and I don’t have to listen to condescending idiots.

Ps before you open your flap hole, every bird I shot at at over 60 yards on the ground last year died. 15 g/cc and up in 6-9 shot and it’s a give me shot if you can calculate windage and elevation.

Name came from it’s distinctive sound when fired.
