The crows impress me more than the mallards !!
Lol to bad they are black ducks
One guy said hunting a leased blind was the lazy way. I want to know what's lazy about getting up at 2:30, driving an hour to the ramp, driving the boat for 25 minutes to the blind, putting out the decoys, shooting ducks, reverse the process to go home.
the difference is the stress and anxiety public guys deal with adds to the exhaustion factor.
What kind of lease makes you put out and pick up your spread daily?
Or at 0230?!?
There are hunt clubs so big that they have drawings like its public.
I don't know. I spend a bunch every year on big game and waterfowl hunts.
It's my money, I work hard to earn it and will spend it as I see fit.
I'm inland from Virginia's duck hunting meccas. For decades, we joined deer clubs and duck hunted beaver impoundments on the club leases. We killed a pile of ducks. The club would eventually lose the lease.... Finally I was in a particular club 60 miles from my house where I got two ducks a year two years straight. And my dog at the time was ready to retire. And I inherited some family property with great deer numbers. Easy decision.
Considering waterfowling was originally the province of pharaoh(s), it’s a bargain these days.
When I was young,.. bum a ride to the lake, a box of shells and a donuts
