How old is your current shotgun ?

Vinci probably 10-15 yrs old, bought it from a friend who shot yotes with it.

I'm going on my 20th season with my Benelli SBE !!! Havnt had to do anything to it other than regular cleaning.

Original SBE, bought it used probably 20 years ago, was 7-8 years old then? Have replaced one part, myself, bought from Brownells. Hasn't had to visit a gunsmith.

Remington 870 magnum Wingmaster, bought it used in 1969 when I was a senior in high school. It fits me perfectly, and I've shot a ton of ducks, geese and doves with it since then.

My main upland SxS is 78 years new. My main waterfowl gun, a B-80, is about 35 years, give or take a few.

24 year old SBE1. Been back for ejector repair. They replaced the upper half with a 99 model with the updated elector.

33 year old 12ga. Remington 870 Express, or 24 yr old 20ga. Remington 1100 Special Field. I really like the Special field for pheasants too.

My 870 is 46 years old.
I remember unboxing them...two.
My dad bought two on Thanksgiving day in 1975 so we could hunt ducks at Oakwood Bottoms.
Seems like a long time ago on another planet.
He made such a big deal out of it that the entire school knew I was going duck hunting. Not a small school. 400 kids in my class.
Rich kids were telling me how lucky I am? Yep.
